In the Queer Blog, you’ll find general posts, recommendations, and personal stories.

Hi, I’m Jana, in my early thirties, an entrepreneur from the Hochtaunus region in Germany – and I’m queer.I’ve been in what looks like a heteronormative relationship for over six years now, and in my partner, I’ve found my personal happiness – partly because he accepts me exactly as I am.
It hasn’t always been like that. For a long time, I got lost – especially in relationships and within my close environment – trying so hard to be what others wanted me to be that I forgot who I really was.
There were many small and big things that helped me find myself again, and I’m deeply grateful for the amazing people who supported me along the way.But there were also aspects that even friends and family couldn’t fill: the understanding of myself.
When you start realizing that you might not be entirely straight, you suddenly see the world through different eyes. That can be both beautiful and challenging – and sometimes, an external point of reference helps: a book, a film, a blog post, or an online community to help you figure out where your own journey might lead.
That’s how it was for me. And when I look around today, I see a lot – but I also see many messages about queer education projects being shut down, funding for awareness and safe spaces being cut. That’s not only sad – it’s worrying.
The Queer Blog and LGBTQIA+ – Why and what for?
While I share short glimpses of my life on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube to highlight queer visibility – without making it the only topic – this blog is meant to provide information, education, and deeper insight into everyday queer life.
Why write about Queerness and LGBTQIA+ topics?
Because pictures and short clips can’t capture the full complexity of queer experiences. That gap often leads to misunderstandings outside the “bubble” – and misunderstandings feed prejudice, hate, and division.

A new blog post goes online every Thursday at 6 PM .And if you’d like to do more than just read – if you’d like to connect and exchange thoughts – you’re warmly invited to join our community and be part of the conversation.
My Motivation
I truly believe that many people simply don’t have access to the right sources for understanding.Educational resources about family diversity, gender identity, and different forms of love and relationships are still rare.Meanwhile, social media often amplifies oddities that end up shaping how entire groups of people are perceived.
That’s why I want to offer everyone the chance to learn about queer life for free – openly, respectfully, and without judgment.
In this blog, you’ll find both informational and historical articles, as well as personal stories, recommendations, and reflections.
